Everything here was just okay. The cocktail was too sweet. The server was very hard to get a hold of. And I wasn’t impressed with the food. The salad was the best thing they had! They charged scallops a la carte. The salmon Caesar was pretty good. Overall, I would not return here again. Primarily because the simple meal took a very long time and we didn’t enjoy it.
Love the plate presentation they have here! Food was amazing, I’d definitely recommend the stroganoff my boyfriend and I loved it! And our server (I believe her name was jasmine) was super sweet and attentive!
Yes, we all know the reputation of Grosse Pointe— the glitzy area and the Bronze door caters to that group but dare I say that the food is pretentious and the portions tiny? I know food prices have gone up, but I was disappointed by the portions. The food was decent and great service.
Very disappointing. We had had dinner here a few times 18 or so months ago and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Went for a very early dinner since we were downtown and even though it was early, we should have known as soon as we walked in.
The lights were all the way up, the interior looked tired, especially the tables. Felt completely different than our older visits.
The waiter did his best, but he was obviously new, and too new to be on his own. Our drinks and appetizers were decent, but we ordered the Filet medium rare.
It came out looking absolutely fantastic, cooked perfectly. It tasted like foam. We took one bite and only took a second because we could not believe the first was that bad.
We told the waiter, and he apologized but brought us our bill with the filet still on it.
Bad meals happen, bad meat happens, the restaurant usually doesn't know how it's going to turn out unless something is obviously wrong with it, but bad meals do happen. We don't care if we get a bad meal if the restaurant steps up and realizes what they sold was bad. I am sure even the best restaurants get a bad piece of meat once in a while.
It is not like we ate the whole thing then complained, we took 2 small bites, and it was awful.
I do not know if the waiter informed anyone, but again this comes down to training and we could tell as soon as we walked in the entire place had changed.
More disappointed in the reaction than in the food.
Things have obviously changed there and there is a reason why a few restaurants always have openings on Open Table on Friday/Saturday nights, and we should have seen that as a warning.
Food was good. We all enjoyed our salads and the pierogis, French onion soup and shrimp. Surprised the Mocktails we ordered (all three of us) were the same price as the cocktails. Also wish there was actual Mocktails choices on menu. Service was good. Kind and attentive.
The lower level was the perfect, private place for a rehearsal dinner for 28. The entire experience was outstanding from the phenomenal food to the top notch service and atmosphere. Thank you for making a special night perfect.
First time and it was decent. You could feel the Andiamo touch. Lots of familiar dishes from other places. Mostly familiar dishes. My pasta was good. Caesar and seasonal salads good. Deserts fine just nothing we all haven’t seen for decades. Place tries to pass off as more formal but it’s pretty casual. People in t shirts and hoodies and a few more formal but it is not fine dining. It’s good but wasn’t special. Not a bad thing but don’t go expecting special. It was good we enjoyed. That’s ok. If you’re looking to celebrate a big deal you might be disappointed though
Service by a mostly young group was actually very very good. As so wine else said the paper menus were grosss. Covered in food and ripped
It was an ok experience and would recommend the short rib dishes which while flavorful, still gave me hints of just being slow cooked chuck roast with seasonings that created a more quality flavor profile. It seemed like the restaurant was …
